Utah Parents as Teachers depends heavily on the generosity of those who believe in our mission. While the staff gives their best, we would not be able to continue to provide the many services to Utah's families that we do without the generous support and donations from our friends.

Utah Parents as Teachers works with families to teach parenting skills and child development, to promote kindergarten readiness, and to provide networking and support to parents with children ages 0 to 5.

Listed below are some of the different ways that you can help Utah's children by making a donation to Utah Parents as Teachers.

 

Donate the Gift of Learning

Order Ready!Set!School! Take Home kits to be distributed to families in need:

Ready!Set!School! is our kindergarten readiness program that empowers parents to teach their children what they need to know to be ready for kindergarten. Ready!Set!School! was developed by Utah Parents as Teachers in cooperation with the Utah PTA and The Utah State Office of Education, and follows Utah State kindergarten readiness guidelines. You can order Ready!Set!School! take home kits in sets of 5, 10, 50, or 100 at the cost of 10 each, to be distributed to parents who are unable to purchase one themselves. In Kind Donations

Utah Parents as Teachers has need of the following types of in-kind Donations:

  • New or Gently used children's books
  • Preschool or children's craft supplies:
    • Construction paper
    • Glue sticks
    • Children's Scissors
    • Paper Plates
    • Pipe Cleaners
    • Paper lunch bags
    • Glue
    • Glitter
  • Gift cards from grocery or craft stores for purchase of group meeting supplies
  • Items for PAT home visiting games and crafts:
    • New socks for making sock puppets
    • Reclosable sandwich bags
    • Construction paper
    • Old magazines
    • Small baby toys
    • Markers
    • Crayons
  • On occasion, meeting space is needed for training purposes
  • Other similar items

Call Anji at (801) 326-4411 if you have something to donate to arrange pick up or delivery, or if you have items you would like to donate, but you are not sure if they fit our needs. If not, we may be able to suggest another charity that can use your donation.
